Driver Eligibility
What you’ll need before you can accept deliveries.
TradeDash reviews each application before a driver is approved to access delivery opportunities.
Valid driver’s licence
A current licence appropriate for the vehicle you intend to use for TradeDash deliveries.
Eligible vehicle
Your vehicle must be registered, roadworthy, appropriate for the delivery, and approved through TradeDash.
Appropriate insurance
You must maintain insurance that satisfies TradeDash requirements and is appropriate for paid delivery activity.
Driving-record review
TradeDash may require driving-history information or authorization to review your driving record.
Background screening
Identity or background screening may be required as part of the driver approval process.
Vehicle Eligibility
The right vehicle depends on the materials.
TradeDash delivery opportunities may be limited based on the capacity and type of your approved vehicle.
Car
Best suited for smaller boxed materials, hardware, tools, fittings, electrical parts, plumbing parts, and similar orders.
SUV
Suitable for small-to-medium orders requiring additional enclosed cargo space.
Pickup truck
Suitable for larger or longer materials when they can be transported and secured safely.
Van or cargo van
Suitable for larger enclosed loads, boxed materials, tools, and equipment.
Drivers should only accept delivery opportunities that can be transported safely and legally using their approved vehicle.
Vehicle Insurance
Personal insurance alone may not be enough.
Drivers are responsible for maintaining insurance that is appropriate for the delivery activity they perform. TradeDash may require proof that your insurer or broker permits the vehicle to be used for paid delivery or courier work.
Simply uploading a standard proof-of-insurance card may not be sufficient if the policy does not permit commercial or delivery use.

TradeDash may require confirmation that paid delivery activity is permitted.

Expired or invalid insurance documentation may temporarily prevent access to deliveries.

Completing a Delivery
From accepting an opportunity to completing the handoff.
Review the opportunity
Review the available trip information, materials, distance, vehicle requirements, and estimated earnings.
Arrive at the supplier
Follow the pickup instructions and identify the TradeDash order at the approved supplier location.
Confirm the order
Confirm that the materials correspond with the assigned delivery before leaving the supplier.
Complete the delivery
Travel safely to the delivery location and complete any required proof of delivery.
Safety
Never accept a load you cannot safely transport.
Construction products can be heavy, long, sharp, fragile, awkward, or difficult to secure. Drivers are expected to use good judgement and follow all applicable road, loading, and cargo-security requirements.
Respect vehicle limits
Do not exceed your vehicle’s legal or manufacturer-rated payload capacity.
Secure materials properly
Loads must be transported safely and secured appropriately before departure.
Report unsafe conditions
Do not proceed with a pickup or delivery if the load or circumstances cannot be handled safely.
Report problems promptly
Use TradeDash support if an order is damaged, incomplete, unsafe, inaccessible, or cannot be delivered.
Delivery Availability
You choose when you’re available.
Approved drivers can make themselves available for delivery opportunities when they want to drive. Availability does not guarantee that a delivery opportunity will be offered.
Opportunity alerts
Eligible drivers may receive notifications when nearby deliveries become available.
Review earnings
Review applicable earnings information before deciding whether to accept.
Choose whether to accept
You are not required to accept every available delivery opportunity.

Can I add or change my vehicle?
Yes. A new vehicle may need to be reviewed and approved before it can be used for TradeDash deliveries.
What if my insurance is about to expire?
Upload updated insurance documentation before the current policy expires. Delivery access may be restricted if required insurance is no longer current.
Can I decline a delivery opportunity?
Yes. Drivers can review available opportunities and decide whether to accept them.
What if an order does not fit in my vehicle?
Do not transport an unsafe or unsuitable load. Contact TradeDash support if the assigned order cannot be safely carried in your approved vehicle.
What if the customer is not available?
Follow the delivery instructions in the Driver app and contact TradeDash support when the delivery cannot be completed as instructed.
Can an expired document suspend my driver access?
Yes. Required licence, vehicle, insurance, or other eligibility documents must remain current.
